The project is created as part of the Museums Night events. It’s a 5 hour exhibition/performance which suggests a different look on the history of the city of Moscow. The space of a former car wash pavilion situated in the courtyard of the building of the Museum of Moscow has never been used as an exhibition space before.
This elongate space has been divided into 5 zones which together formed a passage where the visitors would go through. While doing so, in each zone they encountered two phenomena from historical and contemporary Moscow represented in different forms. For example, one of the rooms had an audio installation where in a dark space there were two simultaneous audios, one from the football match in 1954 and another from the Easter Service at the main Moscow cathedral, both accompanied by similar in style original comments. Other rooms displayed performances with actors, singers, and videos.
